The jQuery Framework; HTML5 for Games

Dan Bowles will give a talk about the popular and useful jQuery javascript library: how it works, what's in its ecosystem, and how to create plugins.

Presentation: jQuery: What is $(this)?, archived preso and files

Josh Sled will give an overview of HTML5 features, then turn to the context of creating games in the modern browser. How can canvas, audio, webgl, websockets and local storage come together to make a rich interactive experience, and what libraries are available to ease the creation of games specifically.
